Started talking via email quite a lot to Guy through CS.
We had quite a few things in common and chatted for over a month then he out of the blue changed mood, good bye. He was very keen at first, I just wanted a platonic almost email pal.
Maybe me being naive..... as he said he was in the Navy and we used his Navy email address to correspond most of the time. As time wore on I became more aware that I felt he was being less than honest. He went under the user name Erasmus 24 something, something. Anyone else had this experience? Whilst we know the guys in the forces appreciate mail when away....is it fair to string people along? I have old fashioned values and hate the thought this guy had an innocent, unknowing wife and family at home and that his seperation pending divorce was a slight exaggeration. Do alot of these guys use us to fill their time away from home. Are there any genuine Military guys out there? I grew up a British Army child and lived on various bases but still I am confused!
